FRP Moulded Gratings are manufactured by combining continuous fiberglass rovings with thermosetting resin systems in a mould. This process creates a one-piece panel with uniform strength in both directions, providing excellent corrosion resistance and impact durability.

The moulded construction allows bi-directional load distribution, making it suitable for applications where loads may come from multiple directions. These gratings are widely used for walkways, trench covers, platforms, and industrial flooring in corrosive environments.

Applications:

  • Industrial walkways and access platforms
  • Trench covers and drainage covers
  • Chemical and petrochemical plant flooring
  • Water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Offshore and marine walkways
  • Cooling tower platforms
  • Stair treads and maintenance platforms
  • Food processing and pharmaceutical facilities
  • Sports complexes and public infrastructure
  • Industrial safety flooring in corrosive environments

Key Benefits:

  • Excellent Corrosion Resistance – Ideal for chemical plants and aggressive environments
  • Slip-Resistant Surface – Available with gritted or concave surface for improved worker safety
  • Lightweight & Easy Installation – Easier handling compared to traditional steel gratings
  • Bi-Directional Strength – Uniform load distribution in both directions
  • Low Maintenance – No rusting, painting, or frequent replacement required
  • Non-Conductive – Suitable for electrical and power plant environments
  • UV & Weather Resistant – Performs well in outdoor installations
  • Long Service Life – Durable solution for demanding industrial applications
